(1) The Council established in accordance with Section 3 shall have the following members:-
(a) An engineer nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the engineers who have at least fifteen years of experience in the engineering business after obtaining a bachelor's degree in engineering - Chairman
(B) An engineer nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the engineers who have at least ten years of experience in engineering business after obtaining a bachelor's degree in engineering subject - Vice President
(c) On the basis of inclusive principle, representatives from each province will be represented from among the engineers with at least seven years of experience in the engineering profession after receiving a bachelor's degree in engineering. Seven members including at least three women nominated by the Government of Nepal (d) President, Nepal Engineers Association – Member
(e) Five engineers elected and sent by the Nepal Engineers Association - members (f) Among the campus heads of the engineering campus, one campus head nominated by the Government of Nepal – member
(g) Representative, Engineering, Institute of Studies, Tribhuvan University – Member
(Ch1) Engineering Subject: One person nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the universities providing study and teaching - Member
(h) Two members, including at least one woman, nominated by the Council from among engineers with at least seven years of experience in the engineering profession with a degree in engineering/discipline
(j) Registrar – Member – Secretary
(2) According to clauses (c) and (e) of sub-section (1), the nomination and election of members shall be done from different subjects on the basis of engineering business.
(3) Engineers nominated and sent by Nepal Engineers Association will be the members of the council until the election of the members as per clause (e) of sub-section (1).
(4) According to clause (g) of sub-section (1), the representative should be nominated from among the engineers.
(5) If the Council deems it necessary, it may invite an expert to participate in the meeting of the Council.
